Co-CEO Dompé farmaceutici - Vice President Business Development Dompé US
Nathalie Dompé is Vice President of Business Development and a Shareholder of the Dompé group. Nathalie is responsible for the oversight, market development, and strategic approval of all new drugs launched by Dompé in the United States. She explores new opportunities for the company through interactions with other business leaders in the pharmaceutical and high tech industries.
Nathalie is concurrently CEO, Dompé Holdings, a diversified holding company in Europe with business interests in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and hi-tech. She sits on the board of several companies including Movendo, Philogen and Dompé farmaceutici. Nathalie graduated with Honors in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. In her free time Nathalie enjoys spending time with her family in the Bay Area, and abroad.
Ashley Hartmann Kline
Global Biotech Head for Dompé Farmaceutici, S.p.A., General Manager for Dompé U.S.
Ashley joined Dompé in 2018 to build the US organization. In this role she has assembled a nimble, talented, and diverse team leading to Dompé commercial success. Ashley leads the current activities of Dompé domestically, and is also a member of the global team responsible for corporate planning and business development activities. She brought to Dompé deep experience leading successful product marketing, commercial operations, and corporate and pipeline planning organizations. Her diverse background covers a variety of therapeutic areas, including retinal disease, gene therapy, and stem cells. Ashley has a passion for partnering with scientists to bring novel therapeutics to patients.
Prior to joining Dompé, Ashley led the Commercial Strategy & Pharmaceutical Development function at Santen, Inc, and previously was responsible for corporate and commercial planning at Adverum Biotechnologies. Before that she worked on the Retina Franchise at Genentech. Earlier in her career she worked in the Chicago and San Francisco offices of Bain & Company. Ashley earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her BA with Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ashley spends her free time on the soccer sidelines, helping with math homework, and putting the green thumb she inherited from her grandmother to work in her gardens.
Senior Vice President, Customer Engagement
Jason joined Dompé in August 2018 as the organization’s second US employee. His initial responsibilities included attracting top talent, creating US commercial sales capabilities, igniting operational launch plans, building an HR department from the ground up, and delivering a go-to-market strategy for Dompé’s first commercialized product in the US. He currently serves as the senior vice president of customer engagement and leads the Sales Organization, Field Operations, Field Marketing, Commercial Training & Development, and Human Resources. Additionally, Jason operates as the bridge between our local team and headquarters-based functions in Milan, including Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Drug Safety.
As an experienced leader with a twenty-year history heading successful biopharma organizations, Jason aspires to build trusting and supportive teams in which people are empowered to make decisions, do things based on need rather than precedent, are real and honest with each other, take a “we, not them” approach, and celebrate success. The breadth and depth of his experience has enhanced his ability to lead, prioritize, set clear expectations, navigate complex challenges, and execute at a high level.
Jason has worked in rare disease and multiple therapeutic areas including neuroscience, cardiovascular/metabolic, ophthalmology, endocrinology, anti-infectives, gastroenterology, and respiratory and immuno-inflammatory disease. Prior to joining Dompé, he served as VP of US sales and operations for Santen. Additionally, he spent more than twelve years at Genentech and six-and-a-half years at GlaxoSmithKline in various positions, including senior leadership roles, sales, training, and operations. He received a master’s degree in management from North Park University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Creighton University.
In his free time, you can find Jason speaking on leadership, practicing yoga, watching sports (especially Creighton Hoops), playing golf, cycling on his Peloton or out on the road, and enjoying time with his wife and two sons.
Senior Vice President, Global Head of Medical Affairs
Georgea joined Dompé in 2018 to build the US Medical Affairs team. She now leads that group, which includes the MSL team, medical information, communications, and operations as well as post-marketing clinical development and operations across therapeutic areas. She has extensive experience and clinical expertise in ophthalmology, diabetes, pain, neurology, oncology, and cardiology and has held multiple roles spanning both medical and commercial organizations.
Prior to joining Dompé, Georgea held marketing and medical leadership positions—her most recent at Shire Pharmaceuticals—and led her own corporate consulting practice. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and is a licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts. She is also a certified immunizing pharmacist and certified diabetes patient educator.
Georgea sits on the board of trustees for the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hellenic Women’s Benevolent Association. Her true passion is performing charitable work for underserved communities and children with rare diseases.
Senior Vice President, Marketing, Market Access and Customer Operations
Brian joined Dompé in 2019 and is responsible for leading the US Marketing and Market Access teams (including field patient access managers and payer national account managers), Biotech Global Product Commercial Strategy (approved and pipeline products), Analytics (including Market Research and Forecasting), and Customer Operations (responsible for US supply chain strategy/execution, patient HUB, and specialty pharmacies).
Before joining Dompé, Brian was the head of Commercial for Achaogen, a biopharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes antibacterial agents. Prior to that, he spent ten years at Genentech across many therapeutic areas—including ophthalmology, oncology, cardiovascular/stroke, cystic fibrosis—in various global product strategy and marketing leadership roles. Brian also worked in biotech consulting for ZS Associates and as a chemical engineer at BASF Corporation. He has lived in New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana across his various roles.
Brian holds a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He is on the board of trustees at the Carey School and on the board of Hillsborough Little League. Brian enjoys spending his free time with his family, watching Pittsburgh sports teams, and playing ice hockey.
Senior Director, Head of Compliance, Dompé US
Sheila joined Dompé in 2020. In her role, she is accountable for the commitment to and further strengthening of the US Compliance Program through continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and applicable standards set forth by the Office of Inspector General. Sheila comes to Dompé with a wealth of experience and knowledge within the US health-care compliance and legal arena.
Prior to joining Dompé, Sheila held several positions in health-care compliance, including associate general counsel at Abigail Healthcare Inc. and the compliance business partner for the Inflammation, Oncology, and Nephrology businesses and Value, Access & Government Pricing function at Amgen, Inc. She was also instrumental in the task force that established a robust health-care compliance function at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. This endeavor translated into building out the seven pillars of a strong compliance program as set and required by the US Office of Inspector General.
Sheila has always been passionate about contributing to humanitarian efforts on both a local and a global scale. She volunteers at her local church and several international agencies to assist with the needs of communities that are often set aside by the norms of society. She loves music and is a professional dancer and avid kickboxer.
Diana Osorio Garcia
Senior Director, Head of Legal, Dompé US
Diana Osorio-Garcia is a senior director and head of Legal at Dompé US. In addition to identifying risk and providing counsel on day-to-day initiatives, Diana is responsible for the legal aspects of Dompé US’s corporate and commercial operations, providing transactional oversight, assessing human resources and employment issues, advising on US privacy matters and non-pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, among others. In addition, Diana is charged with the review of Dompé US’s marketing materials from a legal perspective and sits on Dompé’s Promotional Review Committee.
Diana obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She began her legal career working in law firm environments focusing on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and governance, and advising clients and multistate corporations on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. Diana is fluent in English, Spanish, and French; she is also conversational in Italian and Portuguese. Diana leverages her fluency in multiple languages and the experience gained conducting cross-border transactions and dealing with multinational or foreign-owned entities to strive to achieve seamless collaboration with colleagues from different backgrounds, bridging cultural gaps.
Prior to joining Dompé US, Diana was in-house counsel for a leading multinational US corporation in the cosmetics industry. There, she managed the company’s corporate and commercial legal operations, launching products to market, ensuring regulatory compliance of all advertising materials, and providing counsel on the company’s real estate portfolio and franchise relations.
In her free time, Diana enjoys hiking, cycling, and traveling with her husband.
Born in Milan in 1955, Sergio Dompé is an entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries and President of Dompé, a pharmaceutical group developing innovative therapeutic solutions for rare and orphan diseases.
He has awarded honorary doctorates in Biotechnology with specialization in pharmaceutics (Bologna, 1996), Medical Biotechnology (L’Aquila, 2005) and Pharmacy (Urbino, 2010).
Among the first in Italy to grasp the true value of biotechnology applied to human health, he has developed an extensive network of partnerships with the most significant research centres for diseases in Dompé’s main therapeutic fields.
In 2016, he funded and established Movendo, an innovative medical company sparkled by an idea by the Italian Institute of Technology: to develop the most advanced technologies at the service of mankind and products in the field of physical movement rehabilitation.
In 2004 he was awarded the “La Lombardia per il lavoro” prize, in recognition of his value as one of Lombardy’s most innovative entrepreneurs.
In 2016, he received the Prize of the Foundation Aiuto per la Ricerca sulle Malattie Rare (A.R.M.R.), regularly awarded to those who distinguish themselves in the research field.
In 2017 he was awarded the Guido Carli prize.

Chief Operating Officer
After graduating in Economics at "La Sapienza" University in Rome, she completed her studies with an MBA at Politecnico di Milano.
In 2005 she joined Bain & Company where she gained a consolidated and internationally recognized expertise in the healthcare sector.
She joined Dompé in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and she’s in charge of leading the company's internationalization project, with an emphasis on biotechnology, following the FDA approval of the first therapy for neurotrophic keratitis.
The COO coordinates the company’s activities, with the strategic goal of providing patients with highly innovative solutions in response to unmet medical needs.
Chief Scientific Officer
With a degree in Medical Chemistry from The Sapienza University of Rome, Marcello is a member of the American Chemical Society since 1988 and the Italian Chemistry Society since 2006.
After a brief period as a university researcher, he joined Dompé as a team leader, followed by a period as Research Director and, since 2009, as a Chief Scientific Officer.
He leads Dompe’s Research and Development activities and pre-clinical and clinical drug development programs - from active ingredient identification to market authorization - including relationships with international regulatory authorities.
Marcello also holds a number of university teaching positions and maintains his scientific interests, with published work in over forty scientific journals. He is Associate Editor for several journals.
He has also filed over thirty international patents.
Chief Financial Officer
Giuseppe Andreano joined Dompé in 2007.
Following a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, Giuseppe gained experience in administration and financial management with major multinational companies.
Giuseppe is Dompe’s Chief Financial Officer in charge of administration, budgets and financial control. He also manages IT and purchases.
Chief Industrial Officer
Graduated inBiological Science at La Sapienza University in Rome, after a briefperiod as researcher, Stefano started his career in the pharmaceutical andconsumer health business, working for both national and multinationalcompanies, across multiple sites and geographical regions.
Coming fromAlfasigma, where, as Corporate Quality and Operations, he has played a key rolein the post-merger integration process. He also worked forCatalent Pharma solutions, a leading provider in the CDMO business, firstly asVP Quality Europe, Japan and Australia and later assuming the role of GeneralManager of the Italian subsidiary. Stefano joinedDompé in 2020 as Head of Quality Corporate VP, being accountable forstrengthening quality governance model and continuously improving companyquality standards.
From 2021 as ChiefIndustrial Officer, he is in charge of leading the industrial team, supportingthe company’s strategic growth, while improving overall manufacturing networkefficiency.
Chief Compliance Officer
After graduating with a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Bari, Amalia briefly worked as a laboratory assistant before joining the pharmaceutical industry, gaining experience with a number of national and international companies.
With experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative, in Quality Assurance (in distribution and production), she was also Country Quality Specialist for Amgen’s international team.
This was followed by the role of Healthcare Compliance Manager, initially for Italy and later for several other European countries.
Following this she joined Celgene Corporation in Switzerland as Senior Director, EMEA Healthcare Compliance and Audit.
Amalia became Dompe’s Chief Compliance Officer in 2018 in charge of implementing and managing our corporate compliance program.

Davide graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. Since 2015, he has been managing Dompé’s Commercial Operations in Primary Care at national and international level.
Before taking on this role, he held a number of different marketing and sales positions within the company, focusing on the promotion and development of OTC and ethical drugs.
